American Eagle Launches M5 Restorative Series

American Eagle is launching a new collection for composite restorations: the M5 Restorative series includes five instruments equipped with the patented XP Technology coating, which impresses with its particularly smooth surface.

The multi-functional set reduces the number of tools required, as each instrument has two perfectly matched working ends, which greatly simplifies and speeds up the procedure.

American Eagle’s M5 Restoration Series

The series was created in collaboration with Dr. Anthony Mak, a multi-award-winning specialist in restorative dentistry who has also built an excellent reputation through seminars and workshops. Thanks to XP technology, the instruments have a nano-optimised, extremely hard and scratch-resistant surface, so that the material does not stick to the instruments.

The ergonomic and well-balanced handles are made of stainless steel.

The universal M5-Sculpt instrument is a real problem solver. It can be used to apply fine composite to both anterior and posterior teeth and is an excellent choice for creating tooth anatomy and layering in deep cavities.

The M5-Anterior is a very fine composite sculptor for layering, flattening and shaping in the interproximal and gingival areas. Flexible working ends adapt to the curvature of the tooth. The blade covers the full length of the tooth, which is especially beneficial when placing and sculpting the Class IV composite (anterior tooth)/veneer.

The M5-Pack for applying and packing composite in posterior teeth includes a ball end and a flat end plugger. The composite does not roll off the rammer like on a ball polisher. More composite should be applied using only a ball polisher.

The M5-Carve effectively removes interproximal material. Strong, unbreakable blades are 25% thinner and facilitate interproximal access without enlarging the contact area. Thanks to XP technology, the blades stay sharp for a particularly long time, making it easier to remove and cut material at any time.

The blades have ergonomic angles, allowing easy access to all areas.

The M5-Mini completes the collection. The short, flat spatula is ideal for applying composite in hard-to-reach areas or for packing composite in small spaces. Further information can be found at www.am-eagle.de/en/m5-composite-instrument-series.
