Indian Air Force Agnipath Recruitment 2022: Indian Air Force has issued the notification for the recruitment of eligible male candidates in Agniveer Vayu Intake Batch 01/2022 under Indian Army Agnipath Recruitment 2022 where Agniveers will be recruited for 4 years. Online applications are invited from unmarried citizens of India. Online registration is mandatory for Indian Air Force Agnipath Recruitment 2022 which is expected to commence from 24th June 2022 to 5th July 2022. What is the Agnipath schema?

The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 14, 2022 approved the transformation Agnipath scheme for the recruitment of young people into the Indian armed forces who, after their initiation, will be called Agniveers. The Agnipath program is a major defense policy reform in the human resources policy of the Army, Navy, and Air Force.

Indian Air Force Agnipath Recruitment Eligibility 2022

AGNIVEER VAYU shall be drafted into the Indian Air Force under the Air Force Act 1950, for a period of four years. Agniveer Vayu would form a separate rank in the Indian Air Force, different from all other existing ranks. Indian Air Force is not obligated to retain Agniveer Vayu beyond the 4 year commitment period.

Nationality

Unmarried male Indian citizens (citizens of Nepal are also eligible).

Age

(a) Applicants born between December 29, 1999 and June 29, 2005 (both days inclusive) are eligible.

(b) In the event that a candidate completes all the stages of the selection procedure, the upper age limit at the date of registration is 23 years.

level of studies

(a) Scientific subjects

Applicants must have passed the Intermediate/10+2/equivalent exam with Mathematics, Physics and English from a school board listed as a COBSE member with a minimum of 50% marks in total and 50% marks in English.

WHERE

Three-year degree course in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automotive/Computer Science/Instrumentation Technology/Information Technology) from a government-recognized polytechnic institute with 50% overall marks and 50% grades in English in the degree course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in the degree course).

WHERE

Two-year professional course with a non-professional subject, viz. Physics and Mathematics from state education boards/boards listed in COBSE with 50% marks overall and 50% marks in English in the vocational course (or in intermediate/matriculation, if English is not a subject in the professional course).

(b) Subjects other than science

Passed Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent exam in any subject approved by Central/State Boards of Education listed as a COBSE member with a minimum of 50% marks in total and 50% marks in English.

WHERE

Successfully completed two years of vocational training courses with school boards listed as COBSE members with a minimum of 50% marks in total and 50% marks in English in vocational training courses or intermediate / matriculation if English n It is not a subject in the course of vocational training.

Footnote 1: Candidates eligible for the science subjects exam (on an intermediate/10+2 basis) are also eligible for the non-science subjects exam and would have the opportunity to appear in both the scientific subjects and subjects other than scientific subjects in a single sitting while completing the online registration form.

Footnote 2: Only school boards listed on the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) website as members, on the date of registration, will be considered.

Rating 3: Exact Aggregate The percentage of points before the decimal as listed on the 10+2/Intermediate/Equivalent Examination/Three Year Diploma Course/Two Year Professional Course OR calculated according to Council of Education rules education/polytechnic institute concerned will only be taken into account (for example, 49.99% should be considered as 49% and not rounded up to 50%).

Physical/medical standards

Height: The minimum acceptable height is 152.5 cm

Chest: Minimum expansion range: 5cm

Lester: Proportionate to height and age

Audience: The candidate must have normal hearing, i.e. be able to hear a forced whisper at a distance of 6 meters with each ear separately.

Dental: Must have healthy gums, good dentition and a minimum of 14 dental points

General Health: Applicant should have normal anatomy with no loss of appendages. He must be free from any active or latent, acute or chronic, medical or surgical infirmity or infection and from any skin condition. The candidate must be physically and mentally fit to perform their duties in any part of the world, in any climate and terrain.

Corneal surgery (PRK/LASIK) is not acceptable. Visual requirements applicable according to Indian Air Force standards

Tattoo

Permanent body tattoos are not permitted, however, tattoos only on the inside of the forearm (from the inside of the elbow to the wrist), the back (dorsal) part of the hand/the back of the palm and for tribal tattoos which are according to custom. and the traditions of their tribes can be taken into account.

However, the right to decide the acceptability/unacceptability of the individual belongs to the selection centre. Candidates with permanent body tattoos must submit two photographs (close view and far view) with details of the size and type of the tattoo, during the second phase of the screening test.

Hair/beard growth

Only Sikh candidates, whose religion forbids cutting their hair or shaving their face, is allowed to grow their hair and/or keep a beard and mustache. Accordingly, Sikh applicants wishing to maintain the same as the established specifications must obtain their beard and mustache photographs. These applicants will not be allowed to grow/shave their beard/mustache later after registration.
