PlayStation Now games for December 2021 include GTA III: Definitive Edition

Sony will add four new titles to its PlayStation Now service for December 2021. We already knew that Grand Theft Auto III: The Definitive Edition and HD remaster of Final Fantasy X / X-2 would be added this month, but these two are also joined by John Wick’s Curse and spitting.

Grand Theft Auto III – The Definitive Edition is just one of three games recently released as part of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. The remastered edition of the 20-year-old PlayStation 2 game features enhanced visuals, including support for 4K resolution with performance up to 60fps on PlayStation 5, as well as a GTA V– Inspired controller layout, improved shooter, new languages supported and new trophies.

HD remaster of Final Fantasy X / X-2 is the fourth of five Final fantasy games to join PlayStation Now and is another remaster of PlayStation 2. Final fantasy x takes place in the world of Spira. The inhabitants of the world are terrorized by a monster known as Sin, but according to the Temple of Yevon, this monster is only the physical representation of the sins of mankind. Joined by her tutor Tidus, Yuna sets out on a pilgrimage to defeat Sin. During this time, Final Fantasy X-2 takes place two years after the world entered the period known as Eternal Calm. This time, Yuna teams up with Rikku and Paine to become a Sphere Hunter.

Without surprise, John Wick’s Curse Put players in the shoes of John Wick in a “choreographed chess set brought to life in video game form, capturing the series’ signature gun-fu style while expanding its story universe.” The story of the game takes place before the events of the John wick movies, and John must find Hex after kidnapping Winston and Charon. Ultimately, spitting is a multiplayer arena game where up to four players become spits, who can spit their teeth on bubbles to pop them. The goal is to pop all the bubbles in the arena before the time runs out.

All games will be available on PlayStation Now starting tomorrow, December 7th. All but one appear to be permanent additions to the service, the exception being Grand Theft Auto III: The Definitive Edition which is only available on PlayStation Now until January 31, 2022, a period of less than two months. However, keep in mind that some games will also be leaving service tomorrow. Metal Gear Solid 4, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, and Kill the arrow all must be removed on December 7.
